Fire Pit

Outdoor Fire Pits are engrained in the kiwi outdoor life. The feeling of sitting around a campfire in nature, at the beach or around the home’s backyard are an essential part of our culture.

This fire pit was a chance to bring an architectural design background to completely invent a new product. The result was a Fireflower. It includes four flat steel plates with simple set laser-cut grooves. The design allows three base pieces to form a flower-like bowl. Furthermore, by adding the fourth piece, which rests perfectly above the coals, it converts into a well-designed BBQ grill.

Fireflower firepit comes in handy during COVID-19

Fireflower - a portable bbq, firepit or brazier for one or for many. The COVID-19 experience has been interesting for most and different for everyone.  Being nature lovers, it’s been difficult not being able to venture out and enjoy the outdoors.  In Level 4 we were able to do exercise within our neighbourhood but not venture further than that. We’re mixing it up a bit this year!
