Lifestyle Gear – NZs leading provider of camping gear, glamping & outdoor products. These terms & conditions are issued by Lifestyle Gear and are effective from 1 February 2017. They cover the use of our website, any enquiry and/or purchase from Lifestyle Gear.
Use includes visits to our website, and/or any enquiry, and/or any purchases through our website, participation in our database and/or any communication or promotions. These terms of use apply to you when you use our websites. Please read these terms & condition carefully.
1. Content & Newsletter Subscription
While we endeavour to supply accurate information on this site, errors and omissions may occur. Lifestyle Gear does not accept any liability, direct or indirect, for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any advice, opinion, information, representation or omission whether negligent or otherwise, contained on this site. You are solely responsible for the actions you take in reliance on the content on, or accessed, through this site.
By accepting these terms & conditions when making a purchase you agree to subscribe to the Lifestyle Gear newsletter. You are able to unsubscribe at any stage either by clicking the link within the newsletter or contacting us directly.
Lifestyle Gear reserves the right to make changes to the content on this site at any time and without notice.
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Lifestyle Gear makes no warranties in relation to the merchantability, fitness for purpose, freedom from computer virus, accuracy or availability of this web site or any other website.
2. Ordering products from us
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy products. An order is placed on our website via adding a product to the shopping cart and proceeding through our checkout process. The checkout process includes giving us delivery and any other relevant details for your order, entering payment information and submitting your order. The final step consists of a confirmation page with full details of your order, which you are able to print as a receipt of your order
We reserve the right to limit the number of an item/items customers can purchase in a single transaction.
We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received and accepted your order, which indicates that your order has been accepted and you may not cancel it.
We will take payment from you when we accept your order.
Please note, we do not accept returns/refunds due to a change of mind.

3. Warranty
All products supplied by Lifestyle Gear are provided according to international standards. However, as with the production of any products, there will always be the probability that a tiny percentage may exhibit a fault, which is why we provide a six (6) month warranty on most goods from date of purchase (unless otherwise stated).
The Treepod collection has a one (1) year domestic use warranty and a three (3) month commercial use warranty from the date of purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: All TreePod Cabana & Lounger models are made of canvas and leaving them outside all year round increases the risk of any warranty becoming void. Canvas (and therefore TreePods) is not designed to be left outside for extended periods of time. Exposure to prolonged moisture and/or sun will cause rot, mildew, mould, rust and/or a build-up of natural matter which deteriorates the overall product prematurely and causes unnecessary damage.
For any warranty claims, please contact us immediately at info@lifestylegear.co.nz with photographic evidence and a full description of this issue, including how the item was being used, what cause any such fault, date and times. We will then provide a solution in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and/or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Outside of our obligation under these two Acts, we assess each request on an individual basis and will endeavour to go above and beyond.
4. Payment options

5. Pricing
All prices listed on www.lifestylegear.co.nz is in NZ Dollars and includes GST. Please note that we reserve the right to alter prices on our websites at any time for any reason.
Our prices are for purchases made in New Zealand and do not include any import fees, duties, tariffs or other charges which may be payable if you intending to send the purchases outside of New Zealand.
6. Website & Credit Card Security
All credit card payments are processed using Stripe or Paypal SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, whereby sensitive information is encrypted to protect your privacy.
You can help to protect your details from unauthorised access by logging out each time you finish using the site, particularly if you are doing so from a public or shared computer.
For security purposes we may contact you to verify any transactions and we may require proof of identification.
7. Delivery Charges & Returns
Please refer to our Delivery and Returns web pages for all terms and conditions relating to sending, delivery and returning products sold by us.
Please note, we do not accept returns/refunds due to a change of mind.
8. Refusing or cancelling orders
In the unlikely event that the products ordered are no longer available we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to be placed for commercial purposes, e.g. any kind of reseller. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to have been placed fraudulently.
While we endeavour to ensure that the price and description of products is accurate, if there is an error in the process of listing a product on our website or a technical error in the processing of your order we reserve the right to refuse or cancel the order.
Our right to cancel orders applies to orders that have been accepted.
9. Restricted Products
In the event that any products sold carry an age restriction, we will contact you to confirm you are an appropriate age to purchase the product(s). Confirming this means that you are of an eligible age to purchase the selected product(s) and will supply photo ID to prove your age and details.
You also agree that any purchase being made with a restricted age is not being done so on behalf of a person who is not the appropriate age.
10. Accessing our website
Other than connecting to www.lifestylegear.co.nz using a web browser, you may not gain access to our website servers. You agree not to disrupt, modify or interfere with our websites or products and their associated software, hardware and servers in any way. You also agree not to modify any content on our website. Furthermore, you agree not to use our sites in any inappropriate or unlawful way.

Our website is intended to provide information to people shopping for products, including making purchases via our website and registering on our database to receive e-mails from us.
